i hack sbbs and add support to sqlite3 database in the javascript engine

That is something I'm also interested in (I like database connected

yes, you must patch the source code of the sbbs release and have the sqlite3 headers (from sqlite3-dev package) for compile it. it's not very difficult.

I'll start taking a look at things like this once I have a working
debian
package, using the install from that to start experimenting with SBBS...
it's not very difficult.
